Entertainment is the act of bringing people together to enjoy something, such as a performance or song. It can be anything from a private dinner party with music and dance to a global performance involving thousands. It can also include a story, such as the famous tale of Scheherazade. Stories such as these have inspired many different kinds of media, from music to film and video games. They also often inspire retellings by other artists, who take a different perspective on the same story and make it their own. For example, Rimsky-Korsakov and Ravel reworked the same story for orchestral music, while director Pasolini created a film version and an innovative video game.
